Be a pet person comes with a lot of benefits. However, you probably know all too well that one of the main drawbacks is hair loss. Pets are cute, but their hair on your favorite black jacket? Not really. You can vacuum your house, roll your jeans, and brush your pet daily, but getting pet hair out of your laundry is still difficult. Nevertheless, you must try the FurZapper.
The FurZapper removes pet hair in your washing machine and dryer. clothesthrow in blankets and whatever your furry friend likes to snuggle up to.
Essentially, it’s a magnet for pet hair. Except instead of being a literal magnet, it’s a sticky silicone disc. Throw the disc in the washer and then put it in the dryer. Once your laundry is done and you remove the FurZapper, you’ll notice that the disk is covered in fur. Just wash with dish soap to make it sticky again and reuse as needed.
One thing to note: make sure you don’t use fabric softener or dryer sheets (although you can use wool dryer balls) to keep the FurZapper sticking. This is the sticky part that catches and traps the fur.
Over 11,000 Amazon buyers give the FurZapper 5 out of 5 stars and back up its cleaning claims.
“I have two German Shepherds so controlling the fur is a never ending battle,” one wrote. critical. “I bought these because they can be reused and claim to help release fur from clothes in the washer, then collect the remaining fur in the dryer. I’m really happy to report that they live up to their claim. All of my dark clothes come out of the dryer with virtually no fur.
“OMG. It works,” wrote another Amazon Reviewer. “They didn’t remove a terrible amount in the wash (which I saw), but the dryer was where the magic happened. Literally handfuls of dog hair came out of my dryer. What about cleaning the zappers? Child’s play, no soap needed. Just run under the water and let the magic work some more. What witchcraft is this?!”
The FurZapper costs approximately $15 on Amazon for a two-pack, although the brand suggests using one per pet in your laundry. So if you have more than two pets, you might want to have a few more.
Of course, you can keep a lint roller in each room to get rid of pet hair. But, when you want your clothes really clean, the FurZapper is key.
