Bella Hadid Debuts Jet Black Pixie Haircut and Bangs

From time to time, beauty trends from previous decades come back. We’ve seen 90s brows reach their peak with Kylie Jenner (those weren’t for the faint-hearted), Pamela Anderson’s iconic 90s bun doing the rounds on TikTok and many more, many a Y2K look, including the infamous Claires Accessories butterfly hair clips. #Nostalgia at its finest.

Now though, thanks to Bella Hadid’s recent Instagram obscenewe bring it back a few more decades to the 60s with a very mod style haircut.

In Bella’s four-part IG post, she provides us with all the behind-the-scenes footage we could want. And these, unsurprisingly (considering she’s a model, duh!), come to us from her shoot for the August cover of Vogue Spain. Take a look below:

The short pixie cut created by hairstylist Evanie Frausto comes with tiny micro bangs, all tied up with a black headband. I don’t think she could get more than 6o if she tried! This gives Joan of Arc with a hint of Liam Gallagher circa 2005, but in the BEST way possible, ofc.

Although, as red as it sounds, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Bella sport this hairstyle. In April, the model shared some Instagram photos with that same pixie cut and micro bangs.

While this pixie cut and her previous pixie cut are very editorial (they’re from editorial shoots, after all), in recent years we’ve seen plenty of other celebrities rock the mod pixie-meets-bowl IRL haircut. 60s. Charithra Chandran rocked a similar retro look not too long ago, as well as Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy, and even Kris Jenner.

Now all there is to do is make this look go viral. TikTok, I pass you this one…
