Felicia’s Favorite Shampoo: Detox Shampoo & Charcoal Scrub
âThis shampoo is formulated to deeply cleanse your hair while making it softer and easier to comb. Many products can strip hair of its natural oils, but the Charcoal Exfoliating and Detox Shampoo has special ingredients that condition each strand without stripping your strands. This makes it ideal both for everyday use and when getting ready for color or doing a professional treatment on your hair. I find it best to lather twice with my fingertips, once on my scalp and then again on my ends.
Felicia’s Favorite Conditioner: Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner
âAs a curly-haired girl, I’m always looking for products that can keep my curls defined without weighing them down. This intense hydrating conditioner is one of my favorite conditioners because it does just that! The advanced leave-in formula transforms dry, brittle hair with a repairing blend of moisturizers and extracts for maximum hydration. Adds shine, detangles and makes hair easier to comb. Unique infusion of chia seed and henna extracts helps Resists breakage and promotes healthy hair growth Ideal for curls and extensions Safe for colored, straightened and chemically treated hair.
Felicia’s favorite product for supporting curls: Coils and Curls Cream Styler
In order to help clients understand how to take care of their curls, Felicia has come up with a number of hairstyling tips. As you already know, she started with Anthony Dickey, known for his expertise in textured hair, and became one of her main assistants. When we asked her about her transition from assistant to hairdresser, she told me that it was difficult to keep all of her client’s needs under control. the step when creating any style is always the definition of curling; it provides both volume and shape by reducing frizz. To define the curls, you need to start by preparing them with a cleansing conditioner that will remove excess dirt without removing essential oils. Once your hair is clean, be sure to saturate each strand with a leave-in conditioner (or cream) before starting your styling routine. If possible, let these products soak in your strands overnight or for several hours before doing anything else. A little goes a long way! Hydration once a day or twice every other day should be sufficient as too much can leave a build-up of product which leads to a greasy and flat appearance. After that you can go ahead and use the Coils and Curls Cream Styler. This creamy boosting gel defines and separates while adding volume, shine and texture. Retains curls and reduces frizz for a radiant finish that’s pleasant to the touch.
Felicia’s Favorite Finishing Gloss
I am a huge fan of my Finishing Hair Gloss, it helps eliminate frizz and absorbs excess oil. It tames my hair without making it greasy, which I love. It also helps smooth out tangles while sealing in extra hydration to give your strands a smoother feel. The smell is divine!
