Atlanta’s restaurant turns into a cozy mountain lodge:

A trip to a warm and comfortable lodge in Aspen – or maybe even somewhere in the Alps – sounds pretty good right now, doesn’t it? The Atlanta Hampton + Hudson restaurant team thinks so, which is why they are turning part of their space into a mountain getaway just in time for the vacation season.

Hampton + Hudson recently unveiled its Mountain Lodge Pop-Up, open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. until December 30 on the restaurant’s mezzanine level.

The pop-up aims to transport visitors to a high-altitude hangout, with flannel-clad wait staff and a festive range of cocktails, including tequila eggnog and buttery hot cider (with toffee pudding). duck fat!). Seasonal snacks will also be available to accompany these drinks, including a special apple cider donut created by our friends at the Sublime Donuts of Atlanta.

You might remember seeing Hampton + Hudson featured on Good Day Atlanta in August 2017, when Buck Lanford tested Bee’s Knees Burger (and gave it a big thumbs up, of course!). The restaurant is located at 299 North Highland Avenue Northeast in Inman Park, and regular hours are 11:00 a.m. to midnight weekdays and 10:00 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays, with brunch served until 2:30 p.m. on weekend.

Dr Giovanni Campanile and Dr Sandra Cammarata show viewers a quick and easy healthy recipe:

For years they had owned a Pazzi Pasta restaurant in Brooklyn, but Dr Giovanni and Dr Sandra currently host a podcast also titled “The Secret Sicilian Diet”. Parents are often in a rush in the morning, and preparing lunch for their children is often avoided because it takes time and energy. Many adults tend to believe that children can eat fast food and drink soda because they are young and somehow immune to the health risks of poor nutrition. Meanwhile, childhood obesity has increased tenfold since 1975 and around 18.5% of children are currently obese and suffer from fatty liver disease. Campanile and Cammarata are huge advocates for showing people the health benefits of incorporating the Sicilian diet into their eating lifestyle. They love to show people how to quickly turn healthy lunch leftovers into healthy back-to-school lunch options. Their cookbook has plenty of options for them to present during their cooking segment, from baked cutlets, frittatas, pasta salads, delicious sandwiches, and fruit salads to name a few.
