Taryn Jensen Obituary (1956 – 2021) – Everett, WA

Taryn D’Ann Jensen, 65, of Woodinville passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 on a blustery fall day she would have loved. Taryn was born on September 4, 1956 in Seattle, WA. She graduated from the Meadowdale High School class in 1974 and was a proud hairdresser and business owner of Salon Zuberenz! in Lynnwood, WA for approximately 35 years.

She loved spoiling her three boys, every vacation, biking and rollerblading the Burke-Gilman Trail, attending the annual Tisdel family reunion she co-founded over 40 years ago, traveling with family in Ocean Shores and Palm Springs, traveling across Europe, Harley rides in the back with her husband, girlfriend at Molbaks in Woodinville, works in her living room surrounded by coworkers, praises the Lord throughout weekdays and goes to church on Sundays. She was Jesus Christ’s best friend and an active member of the North Creek Presbyterian Church. She has loved her pets throughout her life, including the Mischief and Sydney cats, Wags goats, Scottish horses, and Buffalo, Chips, Elizabeth, Cooper and Palin dogs.

She empowered many women as church youth group leader and business owner, employing around 50 hairdressers throughout the period of ownership. She was loved by so many and impacted many lives by loving her family, empowering employees, conversing with customers, and leading mission trips in the church, even reaching out to Haiti, sponsoring financially and acting as a correspondent for a child for almost 8 years. She has been described by many as gentle and kind.

Taryn is predeceased by her parents Don and Joyce Tisdel, and two brothers Sam and Mike Tisdel. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 45, Jeff Jensen; 3 sons Jason (wife, Heidi), Landon and Brady (wife, Kate) Jensen; 3 grandchildren Adalyn, Emma and Jake Jensen and many nieces, nephews, cousins ​​and friends.

A visit will take place on Monday November 8 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Beck’s Tribute Center in Edmonds, WA. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9 at the North Creek Presbyterian Church in Mill Creek, WA with Pastor Kurt Helmcke officiating. Then there will be a Celebration of Life at 1pm at the Edmonds Waterfront Center in Edmonds, WA.
